A long, long time ago, there was a brave monkey named Hanuman. Hanuman was very, very strong. He could fly through the sky like a bird! He loved Lord Rama with all his heart. Rama was like the best friend anyone could ever have.
One day, something very sad happened. Rama's younger brother, Lakshmana, got hurt in a big battle. Lakshmana fell to the ground and would not wake up. Everyone was very worried. Rama held his brother and cried. "Please wake up, Lakshmana!" he said.
A wise doctor came to help. His name was Sushena. He looked at Lakshmana carefully and said, "There is one thing that can help him. It is a special plant called Sanjeevani. It grows far, far away on a mountain in the Himalayas. But we must get it before the sun comes up, or it will be too late!"
Everyone looked at each other. The mountain was so far away! How could anyone get there and come back in time? Then Hanuman stepped forward. "I will go!" he said. "I will bring the plant back for Lakshmana!"
Hanuman made himself very, very big. He was as tall as a hill! Then he jumped into the sky and flew and flew. He flew over rivers. He flew over forests. He flew over towns. The wind rushed past him as he zoomed through the air.
Finally, Hanuman reached the big mountain. But oh no! There were so many plants everywhere! Green ones, yellow ones, tall ones, and tiny ones. Hanuman looked and looked, but he did not know which plant was the Sanjeevani. The plants all looked the same to him!
What would you do if you could not find what you were looking for? Would you give up? Not Hanuman! He had a very big idea. "If I cannot find the right plant," Hanuman said, "I will take the WHOLE mountain!"
And that is exactly what he did! Hanuman bent down and picked up the entire mountain with his hands. He lifted it high above his head. Can you imagine that? A whole mountain! Then he flew back through the sky, carrying the mountain with him.
When Hanuman came back with the mountain, everyone cheered! The doctor Sushena quickly found the Sanjeevani plant on the mountain. He used it to make medicine for Lakshmana. And guess what happened? Lakshmana opened his eyes! He was okay! Everyone was so happy. Rama hugged Hanuman and thanked him.
"You saved my brother," Rama said with happy tears. "Your love is the strongest thing in the world."
This story teaches us something very special. When we love someone, we try our very best to help them. Hanuman did not say, "It is too hard." He did not say, "I cannot do it." He found a way! When we love people, we become brave and strong, just like Hanuman.
So remember, when someone you love needs help, do your best. Be kind. Be brave. You do not need to carry a mountain. Even a hug, a kind word, or sharing your toys can make someone feel better. That is the power of love, just like Hanuman showed us!
