Vyavaharika(Practical)

A mudrā is a symbolic gesture, most commonly of the hands and fingers, used in yoga, meditation, classical dance, and ritual worship. Mudrās are believed to direct the flow of prāṇa (vital energy) through the body by creating specific energetic circuits. They are widely practiced in daily worship, temple rituals, and meditative disciplines across Hindu traditions.

Adhyatmika(Spiritual)

In spiritual practice, a mudrā is a seal that locks prāṇic energy within the subtle body, awakening dormant spiritual faculties and facilitating deeper states of consciousness. Common Misconception
